Marsh McLennan Agency Midwest is seeking a Senior Account Manager to deliver tailored insurance programs to commercial clients, with a specialty in Property & Casualty for multi-family portfolios. You will negotiate coverage, prepare proposals, and lead renewals while advising on risk management and strategic planning.

The role emphasizes deep client relationships, market analytics, and collaboration with lenders on development projects, acquisitions, and refinancing needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience in an agency or related company.
• Experience with multi-family habitational risk portfolios and knowledge of Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae requirements.
• Ability to partner with clients and lenders on development projects, acquisitions, and refinancing.
• Provide coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, submissions and proposals, and negotiate coverage/pricing.
• Passion for building layered property programs and strong analytics skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and navigating Agency Management Systems.

• Ensure successful delivery of services to clients by creating and implementing customized service plans.
• Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, negotiate coverage, and manage proposals and renewals.
• Engage in strategic holistic planning for clients and understand the full scope of their business.
