RRD Company is a leading provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. The Senior Account Manager-Packaging Premedia role coordinates between clients and prepress production, driving scheduling, cost estimates and asset management to deliver high-quality packaging projects.

With 3-5 years of relevant experience and strong skills in packaging prepress software, you will cultivate customer relationships, manage orders, and optimize workflows across Flexo, Litho, Gravure, Dry

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of packaging prepress and print specifications for Flexo, Litho, Gravure, Dry Offset & IML print processes.
• Experience with packaging substrate types for Flexo, Litho, Gravure, Dry Offset & IML print processes.
• Strong project management, organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with software related to packaging prepress (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop and Esko).
• Experience with eCommerce / 3D rendering services and requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build customer/internal relationships.

• Ability to problem solve and use sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between clients and packaging prepress production to ensure projects meet scheduling and quality requirements.
• Perform order management activities: communicate job info, enter details in OMS, set priorities to meet client expectations.
• Apply knowledge of packaging printing, converting and prepress to production workflows.
• Understand customer business needs to build solid relationships and solve problems.
• Maintain excellent customer relations through proactive communication and monitoring satisfaction.
• Keep customers and production informed of job progress and requests for info or materials.
• Facilitate timely resolution of production-related problems; escalate when necessary.
• Retrieve customer assets and provide asset management / file transfer services.
• Order photopolymer platemaking services from production resources.
• Generate project cost estimates and billing summaries at project completion.
• Coordinate client support for RRD hosted technologies (PM, soft-proofing, DAM).
• Use ethical practices in dealing with customers, employees, vendors, and community.

This position serves as the key liaison between clients and packaging prepress production to create a seamless workflow that exceeds customer expectations. Primary responsibilities include: project management, pre-production job planning, premedia production scheduling and creative problem solving. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between clients and packaging prepress production to ensure projects meet scheduling and quality requirements.
• Perform order management activity such as communicating job specific information, entering job details into order management software and ensure proper priority is given to each job to meet client expectations.
• Apply a broad knowledge of packaging printing, converting and prepress to production workflows.
• Apply understanding of customer’s business needs to establish solid customer relationships and facilitate problem-solving.
• Establish and promote excellent customer relations through effective and proactive communication and continuous monitoring of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain contact with customers and production to advise them of job progress, scheduling concerns and requests for additional information or materials when required.
• Facilitates the resolution of production-related problems in a timely manner and elevates appropriately when necessary.
• Retrieve customer provided assets and provide asset management and/or file transfer services.
• Order photopolymer platemaking services from production resources.
• Generate customer-facing project cost estimates and billing summaries at project completion.
• Coordinate occasional client support for RRD hosted technologies (project management, soft-proofing and digital asset management).
• Use ethical business practices in dealing with customers, employees, vendors, suppliers and the community.
• Responsible for customer retention and customer loyalty.

• Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of packaging prepress and print specifications for Flexo, Litho, Gravure, Dry Offset & In Mold Label (IML) print processes.
• Experience working with different packaging substrate types for Flexo, Litho, Gravure, Dry Offset & In Mold Label (IML) print processes.
• Strong project management skills, organizational skills and time-management skills.
• Experience with software associated with packaging prepress (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop and Esko).
• Experience with eCommerce / 3D rendering services and requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective customer and internal relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding.
• Ability to anticipate needs on behalf of the customer not to only serve the customer but increase volume and profitability.
• Ability to problem solve, analyze potential solutions and use good sound judgment to make decisions.

RRD's current salary range for this role is $65,800 to $102,600 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future.At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
