Job summary

Cohere is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to drive public sector sales in Germany, engaging federal, state, and local government clients with Cohere’s AI platform. You will own the sales cycle, build strategic partnerships, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to tailor AI solutions that meet mission needs.

Remote-friendly role with centralized territory ownership; travel 25-35% across Germany and near-term offices in major hubs.

Qualifications

10+ years direct public sector sales experience in Germany.
Proven ability to close $3M+ annual quotas.
Extensive PUBSEC procurement knowledge and experience with regional partners and resellers.
Strong network with federal agencies, primes, and industry bodies.
Experience selling SaaS/AI/enterprise software to government clients.
Fluent in English and German.

Responsibilities

Drive net-new customer acquisition in Germany through targeted outbound activity and senior leader engagement.
Develop and execute a Germany sales plan with Cohere leadership.
Advise public sector customers with AI solutions delivering measurable value.
Collaborate with channel partners and system integrators to scale outreach and adoption.
Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close in a team-selling environment.
