As a Senior Account Executive, this role centers on executing day-to-day PR and communications work while supporting senior staff on strategy and client management. It involves a mix of hands-on tactical execution, early people-management responsibilities, and new business exposure. The core of the job is driving visibility for clients while developing strategic skills and judgment to eventually own client programs independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Developing and executing PR and communications strategies

• Draft PR and communications materials including plans, press releases, pitches, media alerts, briefing documents, media lists, messaging, op-eds and bylines, contributed content and social media posts
• Research and compile media landscape overviews and competitive audits for client programs
• Track industry news and flag relevant trends

Managing client programs and serving as trusted client liaison

• Prepare agendas and notes for client status calls
• Compile monthly measurement reports tracking against KPIs set forth during planning
• Manage day-to-day deliverables and timelines for assigned workstreams
• Respond to routine client requests and escal​ate complex issues
• Maintain project trackers and ensure deadlines are met

Mentoring junior staff and interns

• Review intern-drafted materials for accuracy and provide feedback
• Help onboard new hires to client accounts and processes
