Job summary

The Avalon Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Account Director to lead major nonprofit fundraising programs, directing direct mail and omnichannel campaigns from concept through reporting. You’ll partner with clients, internal teams, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure campaigns are thoughtful, data-informed, and results-driven.

You’ll oversee a large direct mail program, mentor colleagues, and help grow Avalon’s client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressive direct response fundraising experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale direct mail programs in an agency.
• Experience leading client relationships and staff supervision.
• Strong understanding of integrated fundraising channels including direct mail, digital, texting, and telemarketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of presenting strategy and results to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior strategic lead and primary client contact for major nonprofit fundraising accounts.
• Lead strategy and oversight for direct response programs, including planning, budgets, creative direction, segmentation, production, reporting, and optimization.
• Direct integrated fundraising campaigns across direct mail, digital, texting/telemarketing, and other channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to develop data-informed campaigns.
• Lead client presentations, campaign reviews, annual planning discussions, and performance updates.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop program management staff.
• Contribute to client cultivation, business development, and other efforts supporting Avalon’s growth.
