An innovative and fast-growing SaaS vendor in the procurement technology space is seeking a Senior Account Director to lead new business development efforts across the United States.

This high-impact role focuses on acquiring net-new enterprise customers, selling a next-generation procurement platform that is redefining how global organizations manage sourcing, suppliers, and compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in selling procurement or sourcing software to large enterprises and a proven ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Account Director, you'll take ownership of strategic enterprise pursuits—working with senior procurement and finance leaders to deliver high-value, transformational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new business by identifying, engaging, and closing enterprise accounts across North America.
  • Own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to contract execution, managing long and complex deal processes.
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in procurement, finance, legal, and IT.
  • Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, and presales) to develop account strategies and tailored value propositions.
  • Accurately forecast and manage opportunities in CRM systems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with significant expertise in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management solutions.
  • A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in complex, consultative sales cycles.
  • Experience engaging with procurement, finance, and C-level stakeholders in enterprise organizations.
  • Self-motivated, outcome-driven, and comfortable operating in an agile, high-growth environment.
  • Based in the U.S., with flexibility to travel for key meetings and events.
