Job Description

Title: Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Location: Fully Remote (Eastern or Central Time Zones)

Book Focus: General, Condos, Construction, Contractors, Hospitality, Property, Real Estate, Restaurants

About the Role:

Assist the account team in completing day-to-day administrative tasks, recurring customer service tasks, and meeting performance requirements regarding production and quality. Ensure no liability associated with errors or omissions occurs. Responsibilities include resolving basic and routine administrative and customer service issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team and office operations, including assisting the Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant, handling policy processing tasks such as endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, policy releases, check requests, invoices, finance agreements, summaries, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, and binders.
  • Manage tasks like billing reconciliation, reviewing policy forms, preparing submissions, online rating, proposals, AOR letters, and supporting new/renewal workflows.
  • Maintain accurate data in agency systems, monitor activity completion, communicate workload status, and provide proactive service.
  • Ensure productivity and quality standards are met, participate in team-building, seek continuous improvement, stay updated on policies, and foster positive relationships.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • 2+ years of industry experience or 5+ years in customer service
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
