Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines. The role supports the account team and producers, ensuring accurate renewals, policy changes, and timely service. Remote work is possible, with onsite needs per policy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. A CISR or active license is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within IOA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, present proposals, bind coverage.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent communication with the account team regarding workload and issues.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
