Job summary

The George Washington University’s Disability Support Services seeks a Senior Accessibility Associate to deliver direct services and accommodations for students with disabilities. You will determine eligibility, plan accommodations, and collaborate with faculty and staff to promote inclusive practices.

Responsibilities include leading outreach, case discussions, and workshops while supporting university-wide inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree or higher
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Familiarity with ADA/Section 504 and disability support in post-secondary education

Responsibilities

• Provide eligibility determinations and plan reasonable accommodations for students with complex needs
• Support DSS activities in student orientation and engagement with faculty and staff
• Lead workshops and collaborate with campus partners to promote inclusion and accessibility
• Participate in case review meetings to discuss DSS student needs and response strategies
• Respond to inquiries and maintain consistent DSS messaging and processes
