BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Access Strategy to own the integrated access plan for U.S. portfolio products. You will translate payer insights into strategies that inform campaigns across payer, provider, and field channels, while partnering with Brand Marketing and Strategy teams.

The role focuses on developing performance metrics, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant access initiatives and field readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including 4+ years in market access, access marketing, access analytics, or payer access.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience building and executing customer-facing access campaigns and coordinating Medical, Legal and Regulatory review.
• Working fluency with access and channel data sources and the ability to work with data directly.
• Strong command of the U.S. payer environment, including commercial/government payers, utilization management, and patient support programs.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage the annual market access engagement plan across two business units, coordinating customer communications and channel activity.
• Develop and maintain response playbooks for market access events, including launches and policy changes.
• Lead development of customer-facing access resources end to end, from concept to launch and field readiness.
• Translate access strategy into clear direction for field access and account teams, partnering with Sales.
• Manage agencies and vendor partners, including scope, budget and performance.
• Define and maintain an access performance framework to measure success across payer coverage and program utilization.
