Job summary

SmartRent is seeking an Advanced Systems Integrator to lead access control and Wi‑Fi conversion projects across the United States. The role involves traveling to properties, managing contractors, and coordinating projects while collaborating with internal teams and property managers to ensure exceptional SmartRent outcomes.

You will troubleshoot access control and networking solutions, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of documentation and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in low‑voltage access control system installations.
• Experience troubleshooting access control and networking systems.
• Experience coordinating projects and/or managing contractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle face‑to‑face client meetings and de‑escalate challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Onsite service: Travel to properties to conduct service calls, troubleshoot, and maintain SmartRent systems.
• Contractor management: Oversee contractors and their crews onsite, ensuring alignment with SmartRent standards.
• Client relationship management: Prioritize client needs and requests, maintaining open communication with property managers and stakeholders.
• Project coordination: Plan schedules for onsite projects and coordinate tasks effectively with the office team.
• Cross‑functional communication: Engage with sales, field managers, support, product, and developers for alignment.
• Process improvement: Provide feedback to enhance documentation and operational processes.
• Documentation: Write clear, engaging documentation about technical subjects and procedures.
