Job summary

University Physicians Group in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Float Senior Access Associate to support primary care and specialty clinics across multiple locations with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

The role involves in-person patient interaction and remote network support when needed, with a sign-on bonus discussed with the manager. Travel between clinics is required as a float position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum two years of relevant scheduling or access experience.
• Ability to handle complex scheduling and patient communications with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule multi-location patient appointments and manage records with accuracy.
• Act as primary contact for patients, providers and health system departments.
• Navigate EMR tools, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Identify scheduling improvements and participate in process optimization.
• Provide exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone.
