Job summary

University Physicians Group is seeking a full-time Float Senior Access Associate to support our primary care and specialty clinics in Charlottesville, Lake Monticello and Louisa. The role involves working with patients and clinic teams in person, with the option to provide remote network support as needed.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with typically no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience required.
• Experience with high-volume scheduling and patient communications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple clinics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule multi-specialty and multi-disciplinary patient appointments accurately.
• Register patients, collect payments, and issue receipts.
• Check-in/check-out workflows, including AVS and follow-up scheduling.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate in patients' preferred language.
