Job summary

UC Santa Cruz seeks a Senior Analyst for Academic Planning and Resources to lead complex data analyses, support division-wide planning, and maintain dashboards guiding budgeting, enrollment, and scheduling decisions. You will partner with Chairs, Deans, and administrative staff to optimize instructional resources and curricula planning.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and thorough reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced analytical, problem-solving skills.
Experience extracting, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience with spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead high-level analytical and operational support for academic planning and resources.
Coordinate annual and quarterly planning cycles and reviews with chairs and departments.
Develop and maintain analyses, dashboards, and reports for resource planning and budgeting.
Support TA/IS budgeting, salary data, and workload analyses.
Ensure catalog, course proposals, and program changes are reflected in planning tools.
