Qualifikationen

• Requires four years of professional student services work in a college/university setting.
• Master's degree preferred for higher responsibility.
• Ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff and work as part of a team.
• Experience presenting to diverse audiences is preferred.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality of student information and records.
• Experience in student advising is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive individual and group academic advising to prospective and current students and graduation candidates across multiple service formats.
• Counsel academically at-risk students and connect them with College and campus resources.
• Serve as a lead resource for academic advising staff, including training and supporting new and current advisors.
• Partner with Center leadership to evaluate advising initiatives and strengthen retention and timely graduation.
• Contribute to Coordinated Care Advising and Center for Student Success programs, events, policies, and procedures.
