Huntington is seeking a Director of Asset-Based Lending (ABL) Sponsor & Capital Markets to source, structure, and close private equity owned ABL opportunities across multiple offices, including Chicago. The role drives market penetration while ensuring disciplined credit and high-quality client experiences.

Responsibilities include leading market strategy, business development, and deal execution, collaborating with internal partners and sponsors, and ensuring compliance with credit standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 7+ years of asset-based lending, sponsor lending, finance, and/or capital markets experience.
• Deep understanding of private equity-backed transactions and capital markets and syndication processes.

Responsabilités

• Market Strategy & Leadership: sourcing and closing private equity owned asset-based loans.
• Business Development & Relationship Management: new business origination and managing relationships with sponsors, banks, and advisers.
• Deal Execution & Credit Process: underwriting prep and credit approvals.
• Internal Collaboration: cross-team communication and pipeline reporting.
