The ideal candidate will analyze financial statements, assess credit risk, and review collateral, borrowing bases, and debtor quality to guide financing decisions. This role emphasizes non-traditional lending beyond real estate, in a dynamic commercial finance environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Underwriting, ABL, Factoring, or Specialty Finance.
- Ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk.
- Experience with accounts receivable lending, collateral analysis, and borrowing bases.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Development and Senior Underwriting teams to evaluate prospective financing opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, business performance, credit risk, and repayment capacity.
- Review accounts receivable, accounts payable, collateral, and borrowing base information.
- Prepare detailed credit review packages and recommendations for senior management.
- Participate in due diligence discussions with prospective clients.
- Perform or support collateral field examinations when required.
- Evaluate account debtor credit quality and business background information.
- Assist Portfolio Management teams with credit monitoring and risk mitigation activities.
