Job summary

M&D Abatement Services, LLC is seeking a dynamic Abatement Supervisor to lead environmental abatement projects with energy and precision. You will oversee safe removal of hazardous materials, ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, and drive quality and timely execution across project phases.

You will supervise technicians, run air sampling with chain of custody, manage containment, and maintain equipment and vehicle logistics.

Qualifications

Knowledge of asbestos handling and removal, mold or lead-based paint removal or demolition and deconstruction operations.
Active Asbestos Supervisor Certification required.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs unaided and climb ladders.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all asbestos projects including planning, execution, and completion.
Lead and motivate a team of technicians.
Run air samples and maintain chain of custody.
Frequent checks inside containment to maintain quality and ensure timely production.
Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
Maintain equipment and materials on job sites.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental laws and company policies.
Oversee disposal of asbestos containing materials.
Ensure job sites are left clean of debris and trash.
Maintain shop area.
