Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced A/V Infrastructure Support role for the U.S. Air Force project at a secure government site in Nevada. You will diagnose, deploy, and maintain A/V-over-IP systems, Crestron/Extron/QSC controls, and Evertz/Dante devices across SCIF networks.

A Top Secret clearance is required or active TS/SCI is preferred. Responsibilities include supporting live events, coordinating with leadership, and ensuring DoD cybersecurity practices are followed, including secure

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years with Masters or 6+ years with HS diploma.
• DoD 8140 IA baseline qualifications or higher.
• Familiarity with signal routing and timing in mixed digital environments.
• Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Dante-enabled devices.
• Knowledge of secure hardware integration in compartmentalized networks/SCIFs.
• Active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months; ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI; US Citizenship.
• Preferred: active TS/SCI clearance; SAP/SAR experience; Evertz MMA10G/Dante/Crestron/Extron/OEM training; AVIXA CTS.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team executing integration efforts in the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment.
• Support mission-critical A/V infrastructure within a secure government environment.
• Apply knowledge of DSPs, microphones, speakers, LED wall displays, video conferencing platforms, and control systems.
• Perform end-to-end signal flow diagnostics and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Support live events, briefings, town halls, and operational test scenarios.
• Maintain and support A/V-over-IP deployments including Evertz and Dante across multicast/VLAN-isolated networks.
• Use networking concepts and tools (IP addressing, CLI, SSH, FTP, Putty, Remote Desktop) for diagnostics and control.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to users and leadership; maintain system configurations and asset inventories.
• Implement best practices and follow DoD cybersecurity IA policies and procedures.
