The ideal candidate holds an A&P license and FAA certifications, plus extensive experience in airframe and powerplant maintenance, including depot-level work and supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• A&P license and FAA requirements in technical areas are expected.
• Experience as Journeyman Technician or higher preferred.
• Embraer understands Senior/Lead maintenance qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities to minimize delays and increase production.
• Provide training and assist subordinates in procedures and practices.
• Provide manuals, bulletins, and data for repair work.
• Maintain equipment and tools in serviceable condition.
• Ensure work records are properly completed by responsible personnel.
• Handle parts during repair and preserve units during processing.
• Initiate stock and material requisitions as required.
• Lead Technician certificated according to FAR Part 65.
• In absence, delegate duties to qualified personnel as necessary.
