Job summary

Embraer in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic with A&P license to inspect, repair, and assemble aircraft components, including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and airframes, following FAA and OEM data.

You will perform routine and depot-level maintenance, interpret work packages, ensure quality, sign off work packages, and collaborate with Maintenance Lead to maintain airworthiness.

Qualifications

• Required: A&P License; 5–7 years of aircraft/general aviation experience in one aircraft type.
• Depot level maintenance experience; ability to interpret OEM work packages.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, rigging, and FAA maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain aircraft mechanical systems to prevent failures.
• Determine repair schemes and required parts; source from stores.
• Repair, rework, and modify worn assemblies as needed.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data for repairs.
• Complete work package documentation and sign off results.
• Submit work for review and ensure airworthiness certification.
