Job summary

LCI is seeking an A&P Technician in Fort Lauderdale, FL to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on aircraft components in line with FAA regulations and company standards. You will follow Crew Lead instructions, manage tech data, and ensure accurate labor hour reporting.

Requirements include a valid A&P or Powerplant license, at least 2 years in aviation maintenance, and the ability to travel for field assignments. Flexibility for overtime and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Valid A&P License or Powerplant License required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance or component repair.
• Able to pass drug test/background check – we are a drug free workplace.
• Able to work independently when required.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds – engines and parts can be heavy and require strength.
• Willing to travel for field travel – removals, preservation, and installations of modules.
• Flexible hours, weekends, and overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul on aircraft components in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
• Receives and follows Crew Lead instructions for daily jobs.
• Prints tech data and obtains authorization from Quality as needed.
• Maintains accurate labor hour accounting and signs off completed work daily.
• Lead when Inspector is required for work steps completion.
• Ensure adherence to labor hour standards and completion dates.
