Job summary

Solairus Aviation, Inc. in Miami, FL, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance on assigned aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with company policies.

You will manage long-term planning, scheduling of events, and financial aspects of maintenance operations, reporting to the Director of Maintenance and CAM. You will lead maintenance activities, supervise personnel, coordinate with AMOs and FAA, and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P certificate and be able to certify airworthiness.
• 10+ years’ experience in corporate aircraft maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of CFRs, airworthiness standards and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to plan, implement and direct maintenance programs and controls.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise maintenance teams.
• Committed to safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities for assigned aircraft and ensure CFR and policy compliance.
• Coordinate training requirements with DOM/CAM and develop maintenance budgets.
• Supervise and approve expenditures related to maintenance and parts.
• Maintain complete records of inspections, repairs, and airframe times.
• Liaise with FAA, AMOs, and vendors; conduct evaluations as needed.
• Remove unsafe aircraft from service and ensure readiness for return to service.
• Ensure availability of tools, parts, and facilities for scheduled maintenance.
