Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance on assigned corporate aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and adherence to company policies and FAA regulations. The role includes budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and safeguarding maintenance records.

The candidate will supervise maintenance teams, coordinate with DOM/CAM, and drive safety and operational excellence across maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P Certificate.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Proficient with planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance programs and control system for the aircraft operated.
• Be a highly motivated individual committed to Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Excellence!
• Remains fit for duty and abstain from drug and alcohol abuse.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• Lead all maintenance activities of assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate maintenance training requirements with the DOM and/or CAM.
• Develop a budget outlining and projecting financial expenses related to maintenance, parts, labor, tooling, equipment, and facilities.
• Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft.
• Participate in the Safety Management Systems and fulfill duties delegated by the DOM, Manager of Maintenance Operations, and CAM.
• Supervise aircraft maintenance personnel and ensure quality of maintenance.
• Coordinate with non-company personnel or AMOs and conduct vendor evaluations for outside maintenance.
• Maintain complete records of inspections, repairs, component changes, airframe flight time, engine times, ADs, and Service Bulletins.
• Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins affecting company aircraft.
• Remove unsafe aircraft from service and ensure airworthiness upon return to service.
• Ensure operational readiness with minimal schedule impact.
• Serve as liaison between the company and the FAA regarding maintenance policies.
• Maintain certification and recency requirements per 14 CFR 65.83.
• Perform internal audits of tool calibration and material control.
