Job summary

HED seeks a Senior Project Manager for its PreK-12 practice in California. The role focuses on leading multi-disciplinary A/E teams, managing risk, schedule, and project financials, with DSA-permitted education projects central to the portfolio.

The position requires a decade of post-graduate A/E experience, California licensure, and a collaborative approach to client service. A flexible hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years' post-graduate professional experience in the A/E industry.
• Minimum five years’ experience as A/E or Client-Side PM with direct responsibility for financial and risk management.
• Experience with DSA-permitted Pre K-12 projects in California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Professional Licensure in California.
• LEED Accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal-in-Charge with proposals and owner agreements.
• Lead multi-disciplinary A/E teams through all project phases.
• Prepare and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage client activities and contracts; identify additional service fees as needed.
• Coordinate design reviews and ensure quality policies.
• Support marketing activities including client relationships and interviews.
