Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks an experienced Program Manager to act as the overall leader and single point of contact for A&A activities on a federal task order. You will provide strategic direction, oversee multi-project execution, and ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery across dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible program management experience on large federal IT or cybersecurity programs.
• Experience managing multiple projects, task orders, budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables in a federal environment.
• Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams across customer and contractor locations.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and contractor-to-contractor integration.
• Strong knowledge of A&A, RMF, NIST standards, and federal cybersecurity compliance.
• Excellent communication with executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Experience preparing executive briefings, reports, and project plans.
• Effective leadership, organization, analytics, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the overall Program Manager and primary POC for all A&A activities on the task order.
• Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for all program operations.
• Lead large, complex programs and multiple concurrent projects across locations.
• Manage program risks, interdependencies, schedules, budgets, staffing, and performance.
• Ensure coordination among A&A work units, subcontractors, and contractor teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Government leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor Project Managers and technical leads.
• Direct financial management, staffing, and resource planning to meet objectives.
• Apply knowledge of A&A processes and RMF to support program decisions.
• Prepare executive-level briefings and review task plans, milestones, and costs.
