Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead government A&A efforts under a large contract. You will serve as the single point of contact, provide strategic direction, and manage risks, budgets, and schedules across multiple teams.

The role is remote within the United States with periodic travel as required; preferred location is the Washington, DC metro area, coordinating with government stakeholders to deliver objectives.

Qualifications

• 15 years of progressive program management experience on federal IT or cybersecurity programs.
• Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of A&A, RMF, NIST security standards and federal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as overall Program Manager and primary POC for all A&A activities on the task order.
• Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for all program operations.
• Lead large, complex programs and direct multiple concurrent projects.
• Manage program risks, interdependencies, schedules, budgets, staffing, and performance.
• Ensure effective integration and coordination among all A&A work units, subcontractors, and supporting contractors.
