Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of DoD and commercial projects across multiple mission areas. You will manage day-to-day execution, financial performance, staffing, and contract compliance while building strong customer relationships.

This hybrid role requires residence within commuting distance of North Charleston, SC, with opportunities to develop into broader program management responsibilities as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and active security clearance is required.
• Experience managing multiple DoD or Federal government projects is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of a moderately complex project or portfolio.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, staffing plans, risk registers, and performance metrics.
• Manage cost, schedule, staffing, and customer relationships to meet contract requirements.
