Job summary

Christus Health is seeking a Supervisor Communications Operations EMS to oversee the daily functions of the 9-1-1 Communications Center in Longview, TX. You will supervise staff, ensure reliable telecommunications, maintain QA reviews, and prepare detailed reports and records to support high-quality public safety communications services.

The role requires coordinating with IT and administrative teams, maintaining certifications and duties for Ground, Flight, and Call Taking, and ensuring policy

Responsibilities

• Meets competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Oversees 9-1-1 Communications Center operations during shifts.
• Supervises posting, call-taking, transfers for ground dispatchers and call-takers.
• Performs call review and maintains EMD-Q certification.
• Coordinates with IT, AOC, Logistics on system status and vehicle/equipment needs.
• Prepares shift reports and conducts monthly, quarterly, and annual evaluations.
• Distributes policy changes and updates to shift and enforces goals under leadership directives.
