MITRE seeks a Principal 5G/nextG Cybersecurity Architect to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into secure next-gen communications for Federal Government sponsors. You will drive architectural design, standards development, and cybersecurity engineering using real-world telecoms experience and AI to mature the enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; 8 years with a master's; or 5 years with a PhD.
• Enterprise security architecture expertise with zero trust principles.
• Expertise in 3GPP, ENISA and GSMA 5G/nextG standards and security.
• Experience with 5G/nextG telecom architectures and large deployments.
• Ability to translate security needs into architecture decisions for government programs.

Responsabilités

• Develop secure 5G/nextG architectures and reference designs for government customers.
• Lead enterprise 5G/nextG strategies, roadmaps, standards, and governance.
• Guide 5G cybersecurity architecture, research, and implementation in USG projects.
• Advance secure AI usage, automation, and zero trust in next-gen systems.
• Apply 3GPP standards and translate into security requirements and guidance.
• Create architectural solutions and metrics for wireless infrastructure across platforms.
