Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years related experience with a bachelor's degree; 8 years with a master's; or 5 years with a PhD.
• Advanced ability to architect secure enterprise solutions and apply zero trust to complex nextG systems.
• Expertise in 3GPP, ENISA, and GSMA 5G/nextG standards, architecture, and security considerations.
• Experience in 5G/nextG telecommunications, wireless network architecture, and large-scale deployments.
• Strong communication skills with government executives and technical teams.
• Active Top Secret clearance or eligibility for Top Secret/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver innovative secure 5G/nextG architectures and reference designs for government customers.
• Lead enterprise 5G/nextG strategies, roadmaps, standards, and governance.
• Plan, organize, and execute 5G cybersecurity architecture and research in USG programs.
• Advance secure use of AI, ML, automation, and zero trust in nextGen networks.
• Apply 3GPP 5G standards to architecture decisions, security requirements, and implementation guidance.
• Develop architectural solutions and metrics for wireless infrastructure across government installations.
• Evolve 5G reference architectures to ensure security, resilience, and interoperability across hardware, software, cloud, and edge platforms.
• Translate threat modeling results into security requirements and verification objectives.
• Collaborate with government officials and industry to deliver timely 5G/nextG guidance and solutions.
• Communicate complex findings and risk decisions effectively to executives and technical teams.
