Actalent is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a fully on-site contract role in Franklin, WI. You will own 5-axis milling projects from programming through production handoff, program and set up machines, and prove out complex parts with feedback from quality and first article inspections using Mastercam.

You will work with a small programming team and manufacturing engineering technicians to refine toolpaths, adjust feeds and speeds, and document setup sheets.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC milling and Mastercam programming.
• Ability to run CNC machines and verify conformance through first article inspections.
• Experience creating setup sheets and tool lists for complex parts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills directly at the machine.
• Background as a machinist turned programmer is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own CNC milling projects from programming through handoff to production.
• Program 5- and 4-axis centers, with Mastercam as preferred.
• Set up machines, create and maintain setup sheets and tool lists.
• Run machines to prove out programs and validate processes.
• Perform first article prove-outs and adjust programs based on quality feedback.
• Troubleshoot machining issues at the machine and identify root causes.
• Refine toolpaths, feeds, speeds, and fixturing for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and machinists to improve processes.
• Document processes clearly and facilitate smooth production handoff.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
