Job summary

Boutique Recruiting seeks an experienced CNC Programmer for a precision manufacturing operation in Sturtevant, WI. You will lead programming, process development, and production optimization, crafting multi-axis CNC programs and interpreting complex drawings to improve quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong 4th- and 5th-axis experience, and collaboration with production teams. DOE salary range is $75,000–$90,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of CNC programming or related manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 4th- and 5th-axis machining equipment using Mastercam and Fanuc controls.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GD&T requirements to determine effective machining strategies.
• Plan machining processes for cast components, including tooling selection, feeds and speeds, workholding, and fixture design.
• Troubleshoot machining issues involving tool wear, chatter, surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and cycle times.
• Improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce scrap, and extend tooling life.
• Develop and evaluate custom cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding solutions to support production requirements.
• Collaborate with machine operators, quality personnel, maintenance teams, and engineering leadership to resolve technical challenges.
• Create and maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, tooling specifications, and manufacturing process documentation.
• Support quality inspections and implement process adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers regarding technical specifications, manufacturability, and production requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in high‑volume CNC machining operations
