Job summary

Selected Furniture LLC in Knox, Indiana, seeks an experienced CNC Programmer specializing in 5-axis wood and composite machining for high-end chair production. You will take designs from concept to production, building toolpaths, jigs, and fixtures, and supporting the manufacturing process.

Proficiency with Alphacam, Mastercam, Inventor, Solidworks, and Fusion 360 is required; you will create efficient programs, validate with simulations, and collaborate with production to optimize quality and

Qualifications

5+ years CNC programming experience in wood furniture/seating manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining; Bacci a plus.
3D modeling proficiency; read/interpret technical drawings.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Create and optimize 3-axis and 5-axis toolpaths for solid wood, plywood, MDF, and engineered materials.
Develop production-ready CNC programs and validate them via simulation and test runs.
Design robust jigs, fixtures, and vacuum setups in collaboration with production teams.
Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize speeds, feeds, and tooling choices.
Maintain tooling libraries and machining templates, and produce machining documentation.
