Job summary

Hydracore Inc. is a Metuchen-based precision machine shop seeking an experienced CNC programmer/setup operator for 5-axis Lathes and Mills in a low-volume/high-mix environment. You will write and modify programs, set up equipment, and ensure parts meet exacting specs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in 5-axis programming, strong GD&T and drawing literacy, and hands-on experience with Mastercam, Hypermill, ProShop ERP, and DMG-MORI machines. Pay starts at $50+ per hour with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of 5-axis CNC lathe/mill programming.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, documents, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup, and run 5-axis CNC Lathes and Mills in a low-volume/high-mix workflow.
• Write and/or modify CNC programs and instruction sheets for multi-axis machined parts.
• Use inspection/measurement tools to validate work.
• Cut material, build tooling, set fixtures, prove and run programs, deburr and finish parts.
