Hydracore Inc. is a Metuchen-based precision machine shop seeking an experienced CNC programmer/setup operator for 5-axis Lathes and Mills in a low-volume/high-mix environment. You will write and modify programs, set up equipment, and ensure parts meet exacting specs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in 5-axis programming, strong GD&T and drawing literacy, and hands-on experience with Mastercam, Hypermill, ProShop ERP, and DMG-MORI machines. Pay starts at $50+ per hour with growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup, and run 5-axis CNC Lathes and Mills in a low-volume/high-mix workflow
• Write and/or modify CNC programs and instruction sheets for multi-axis machined parts.
• Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate work.
• Cut material, build tooling, set fixtures, prove, and run programs, deburr, and finish parts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of 5-Axis CNC Lathe and Mill programming experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings, documents, and GD&T

Desired Skills:

• Experience cutting a wide range of difficult to machine metals.
• Experience programming and operating DMG-MORI machines
• Thorough knowledge of the use of measurement and inspection tools
• Experience programming with Mastercam and Hypermill
• Experience with ProShop ERP

Compensation:

• Pay starting at $50+ per hour, based on relevant experience and skills
