Flowserve Corporation is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in California. The role involves setting up, programming edits, and operating complex 5-axis CNC centers to produce precision components per engineering specs.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, and ensure quality while optimizing processes. A minimum of 5 years of CNC experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience with 5-axis capability.
• Experience with turning/milling on 3-axis and 5-axis machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Experience inspecting parts with micrometers and calipers.
• Strong setup, tool selection, and process optimization skills.
• Proficiency in stainless steel machining and shop math.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC turning and milling machines.
• Perform complex machine setups and optimize processes for quality.
• Edit and troubleshoot G-code at machine controls.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to ensure specs.
• Inspect components with precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and verify settings before runs.
• Maintain quality standards and seek productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on issues.
