Flowserve Corporation is seeking a machinist to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The role requires reading blueprints and geometric tolerances, and applying knowledge of mechanics and materials to fabricate and repair components.

You will handle precision equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 5–7 years machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
• Experience operating manual and CNC lathes/mills in manufacturing or repair settings.

Responsabilités

• Operate basic machine tools and carry out routine tasks.
• Follow established processes to complete operations.
• Maintain and repair equipment; perform preparatory tasks and support.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental guidelines to protect people and environment.
• Adhere to quality standards and regulatory codes; follow procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and tolerances; measure with micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
• Communicate with team members through courteous interactions.
• Follow policies and procedures in line with organizational goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
