Job summary

Compunnel Inc. is seeking skilled machinists to set up and operate CNC and conventional equipment, performing complex 5-axis operations per engineering requirements. You will verify dimensions with mechanical and electronic tools, maintain certifications, and conduct first-part inspections.

The role emphasizes high skill, minimal training needs, and rigorous vetting of showcased capabilities. Enhancing productivity, you will support continuous flow, train peers, and ensure quality at all levels

Qualifications

• The worker will be doing only 5-axis work. Hence, experience with 5-axis machining will be considered relevant.
• Please do not submit any candidate who has only 3-axis or 4-axis experience.
• Experience with any of these 5-axis machines would be preferable: Cincinnati, Makino, Okuma, Mazak, SNK, Matsuura, Devlieg, Modig, Henri Line', Cinetic, Doosan, Hurco, Jig Bore, Toshiba, Flexi-Mill, Torres.
• The worker needs to be highly skilled and able to work with minimal training.
• The worker should be able to explain the skill sets mentioned in the resume, so serious vetting is required before submitting the candidate in the system.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional equipment to perform complex or precision operations.
• Inspect parts using mechanical and electronic measurement tools.
• Maintain certifications and perform first-part inspection of procured or fabricated parts.
• Support continuous flow by training and assisting peers.
• Move product within the manufacturing area and coordinate transitions to the next operation.
