• Extensive hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC milling.
• Demonstrated CAM programming using Siemens NX CAM and Mastercam.
• Direct experience machining advanced composites (carbon-carbon, phenolic, C/SiC).
• Strong expertise in cutting tool selection and machining parameters.
• Proven ability to develop and troubleshoot complex machining operations independently.

Aufgaben

• 5-axis CNC programming and machining; develop, simulate, and prove out complex operations.
• Create advanced CAM toolpaths using NX CAM or Mastercam.
• Optimize toolpaths for material removal, surface finish, and cycle time.
• Generate and maintain CNC programs, post-processed code, and setup sheets.
• Set up and operate 5-axis machines with proper workholding and probing.
• Troubleshoot toolpaths, vibration, surface quality, and dimensional issues.
• Develop robust machining processes and transition from R&D to production.
