Job summary

Composite Energy Technologies, a world leader in advanced composite structures, seeks a CNC Machinist to join the team in Rhode Island. You will set up, program and operate HAAS 5-axis mills and lathes, read blueprints, inspect parts for tolerance, and uphold ISO quality standards.

The role requires safe operation of multiple CNC machines, daily maintenance, and strict adherence to written processes. Strong precision and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Experience setting up and operating CNC machines across multiple units.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and work instructions.
Competence in measuring tolerances and performing visual/hand inspections.
Familiarity with ISO quality standards and preventive maintenance.
Commitment to a safe, clean, productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Safely set-up and operate multiple CNC machines with minimal assistance.
Operate CNC Machines and monitor performance.
Read and adhere to written processes and blueprints.
Study drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect products with calipers, micrometers and visual tools.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and perform daily maintenance.
Adhere to ISO quality standards throughout production.
