Job summary

CPS, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant to join our team. This role blends technical compliance work with client interaction, focusing on defined contribution plans and plan provisions.

You will handle nondiscrimination testing, data collection, testing, 5500 filings, SARs, and stay current on regulatory developments, while working in a hybrid setup. ASPPA/NIPA credentials and 3+ years' DC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
• 3+ years of defined contribution plan administration experience.
• Proficiency with FT William Modular Admin/Compliance Software.
• Demonstrated skill in ADP/ACP, 410(b), 414(s), Top Heavy testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with client relations experience.
• ASPPA, NIPA, or equivalent credential.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondiscrimination testing (ADP/ACP, 410(b), 414(s), and more) for a caseload of 80–100 qualified plans.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value.
• Manage all aspects of DC plan administration—from data collection and testing through Form 5500/5500-SF and SAR preparation.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of plan documents and their provisions.
• Stay current on legislative and regulatory developments affecting DC plans.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and colleagues, supporting team workflow.
• Use Teamwork and FT William Modular Admin/Compliance software to manage day-to-day work, along with other tools as needed.
