Job summary

EPIC Retirement Plan Services seeks a Compliance Specialist III to manage increasingly complex compliance filings and government submissions within department standards. You will mentor team members, prepare year-end packages, and publish key regulatory forms while maintaining accuracy and quality.

The role requires an Associate degree with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent, plus ASPPA QKA designation. Strong MS Excel/Word skills and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 5+ years related experience, or equivalent.
• ASPPA QKA designation required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compliance tests and year-end packages including eligibility determinations and contribution calculations; review and self/peer review as needed.
• Prepare, review, and publish Form 5500, Form 5330, Form 8955-SSA and related regulatory forms.
• Maintain knowledge of moderate to complex plan concepts and continue learning more complex plan types.
• Research and resolve testing and 5500 issues; mentor other team members; develop processes with managers.
• Prepare asset reconciliation and other plan valuation tasks as needed.
• Prepare plan documents (restatements, amendments, SPDs, notices) as required; assist with QDRO allocations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
