Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning R&D Engineer for Matterport in Sunnyvale, CA.

The role focuses on researching and building neural reconstruction and generative systems to power Matterport’s digital twins. You will work across neural rendering, view synthesis, and large-model training on proprietary data, collaborating with researchers and engineers to ship production-ready capabilities in a global product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant field preferred.
• Experience in ML research and development with CV/3D data focus.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and Python; strong fundamentals in DL.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and train large-scale models for 3D reconstruction and generative scene completion.
• Advance neural rendering and novel view synthesis for indoor/outdoor spaces.
• Develop scalable training/inference pipelines for large 3D datasets.
