Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a detail-oriented 3D Print Specialist to join our team in the U.S. As a growing electric vehicle-focused company, you will work with Design and other teams to plan, schedule, and execute 3D printing for parts.

You will prepare data, operate printers, remove supports, and perform minor secondary operations. The role involves coordinating outsourcing when needed and maintaining material stocks with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-8 years workshop experience in a professional product development environment.
• Ability to create schedules and material lists in Excel.
• Ability to create detailed timing plans.
• Ability to modify 3D data.
• Excellent spatial perception, hand/eye coordination and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Work with project management to understand requirements and timing.
• Create schedules to meet milestones, maximizing efficiency of in-house printers.
• Prepare and manage 3D printing of parts, including data preparation.
• Operate machines and remove support material from prints.
• Carry out minor secondary operations such as bonding and threaded inserts.
• Prepare packages for quotation and coordinate outsourcing logistics.
• Maintain stock levels and liaise with vendors.
• Lead maintenance and repair of equipment.
