Job summary

AEVEX Corp. is seeking a Sr. 3D Printing Technician to lead and support day‑to‑day additive manufacturing in a fast‑paced production environment.

You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and support 3D printing equipment and post‑processing systems to ensure high quality output and on‑time schedules. The role requires 6+ years of 3D printing experience, strong knowledge of FDM printers, and proficiency with Cura, PrusaSlicer, and Bambu Studio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of experience with 3D printing in production or hands‑on setting.
• Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting FDM printers.
• Experience with post‑processing and quality inspection of printed parts.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced production environments.
• Candidates encouraged to share 3D printing portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor 3D printing equipment including FDM and similar technologies.
• Prepare and configure print jobs using slicing software and materials.
• Load raw materials including filaments and resins for production.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Troubleshoot printer issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Inspect printed components for dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
• Perform post‑processing operations to final specifications.
• Maintain production logs and build documentation.
• Work safely and maintain a clean production workspace.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge.
