Job summary

Skydio is seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Generalist to join our Brand Creative team on a full‑time, three‑month contract. You will produce photorealistic product renderings, animations, and interactive 3D assets for our keynote, launches, and brand programs.

You will work from CAD data in Blender, build production‑ready assets, develop materials, lighting, and compositing, and optimize for real‑time web experiences and AR. Remote or hybrid work from San Mateo, with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing photorealistic hard-surface product renders.
• Advanced Blender skills across modeling, shading, lighting, and animation.
• Experience turning CAD data into production-ready assets.
• Ability to deliver under tight production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Create photorealistic renderings and animations for keynotes and campaigns.
• Develop materials and lighting in Blender and Substance 3D Painter.
• Prepare CAD-derived geometry with cleanup and optimization.
• Export and validate glTF/GLB assets for web-based viewers.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to meet deadlines.
