Job summary

Skydio is seeking a senior 3D generalist for a full-time, three-month contract on its Brand Creative team. The role turns product CAD into polished imagery, animations, illustrations, and interactive 3D assets for launches, keynote work, and web experiences.

You will build photorealistic drone visuals, prepare CAD geometry for Blender, and create assets for campaigns while preserving product accuracy. A strong portfolio in hard-surface rendering, lighting, and Blender workflows is required,

Qualifications

• Portfolio or reel showing hard-surface product rendering and product animation
• Strong lighting, material-development, and CAD-derived visualization skills
• Ability to clean geometry, organize scenes, create UVs, and preserve product proportions
• Experience with Blender and production-ready product visualization workflows
• U.S. work authorization for a remote or San Mateo hybrid contract

Responsibilities

• Build photorealistic drone product renderings, illustrations, and animations
• Prepare CAD-derived geometry for production visualization in Blender
• Create assets for product launches, keynotes, web experiences, manuals, decks, and campaigns
• Preserve product accuracy while lighting, materializing, animating, and compositing scenes
• Optimize real-time or interactive 3D assets when a project calls for them
