Escape Velocity Entert... is hiring a Senior Principal 3Cs Designer for a fully remote, full-time role. You will design and own core features and mechanics across a global game project, collaborating with engineering, art, and level design to deliver polished player experiences.

You should have shipped AAA console/PC titles and strong Unreal Engine experience (UE5) with scripting. The team emphasizes autonomy, honest communication, and a culture of play as we build a once-in-a-career title.

Qualifications

• Shipped console/PC AAA title(s).
• Experience with Unreal Engine (UE5) and scripting.
• Strong understanding of game systems and gameplay flow.

Responsabilités

• Design and own features and mechanics aligned with the creative direction.
• Lead development efforts and implementation.
• Polish 3Cs player mechanics from conception to final stages.
• Standardize, document, and communicate (3C) features to the game team.
• Maintain design documentation guiding interdependent teams.
• Collaborate with Programming, Art, and Level Design on integration.
• Contribute to combat prototypes from a 3Cs perspective.
• Adapt designs to technical and production constraints.
• Propose improvements to tools and pipelines.
