Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to support 340B contracting and sourcing finance. The role focuses on data-driven insights, contract optimization, and value propositions for program participants, requiring strong SQL, Excel, and BI tooling skills.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze purchasing data, develop dashboards, and provide actionable recommendations that inform internal strategies and partnerships in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience; pharma/healthcare industry preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and MS Excel.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio or similar SQL query tools.
• Python or R skills are a plus.
• Experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy, Power BI) preferred.
• Excellent communication, project management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interact with stakeholders while collaborating with analysts, data engineers, and data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of data sets to generate insights into contract optimization and 340B trends.
• Perform complex financial analyses and quantitative modeling.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends and opportunities for business decisions.
• Use statistical methods and tools for optimization, segmentation, regression, etc.
• Query databases and translate data findings into clear narratives.
• Create dashboards, reports and KPIs; track progress on team goals.
• Act as a data analytics resource for internal teams.
